The Counselling Space

The counselling room at Lantern Counselling is a private, cosy, and welcoming space, with its own entrance on Broad Street. I aim to create an environment that feels calm, comfortable, and supportive of your needs.

If you have any mobility requirements, the doorway is 72cm wide with a small 6cm step up. A ramp is available to support access. There is also a toilet available, although unfortunately it is not wheelchair accessible. If you have any questions or specific access needs, you are very welcome to get in touch via the accessibility form so we can think together about what might help.  I also offer virtual sessions.

The counselling room is based within a residential property where a small dog called Frowzy lives. She won’t be present during sessions (unless you would like her to be), though you may occasionally hear her in the background. Frowzy is a border terrier, a breed often considered hypoallergenic, so this should not affect most people with allergies.
